Do you need to check or update your wifi settings on the Telraam device? If your device has lost it’s wifi connection, or if you are changing settings, then you will need to access the settings on the device
What will I need?
✅ Access to the Telraam device
✅ A separate device that can connect to the internet/wifi (such as a computer, mobile phone or tablet).
Step 1 - Connect to the hotspot of your Telraam device
1️⃣ Connect to the Telraam hotspot. This is explained in a separate FAQ article: How do I (re)connect to my Telraam using the hotspot? Follow these steps.
Step 2 - Connect the Telraam to your home wifi and start counting
2️⃣ Check and update your wifi credentials
3️⃣ Click "save and connect".
➡️ Your Telraam device will then connect to your home wifi network.
❗️ There are currently different versions of the Telraam software. You can see the version number of the software in your dashboard. If you are running v9 or v10, then you should consider updating to v11 as this could fix the issue. To upgrade your Telraam software follow the instructions found here: "Updating the Telraam software yourself".
With the latest v11 version (September 2021), a progress bar will appear, displaying an automatic check of the wifi data entered. In some cases you might see a message saying the connection was unsuccessful , even though it succeeded. You can check if the device is connected on your Dashboard at www.telraam.net on your mobile or computer.
❗️ In v10 this check does not take place so you will need to check the web platform. Wait for about 10-15 minutes then you should see data on your Dashboard on the web platform and you will know the wifi data is correct. If the connection is unsuccessful, please try again.
✅ This is what you see in your Dashboard at www.telraam.net when you are actually connected:
