The Telraam works best with 2.4 GHz. How to get organized?
For each access provider, the rules are obviously different. You will find below the precise information for Telenet. For other providers, we invite you to contact them to know how to proceed.
There are two possibilities for Telenet:
The first is to split the network:
1. Log in to 'My Telenet' and click on 'your home network'.
2. Click on 'modem details'.
3. Click on 'network settings and wifi password'.
4. Scroll to '5 GHz security configuration' and give it another network name, for example '_5'.
5. Click on 'Save'.
By default, a Telenet modem works as a Wi-Fi network that combines 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. That's why you can't choose. You can change this setting in 'My Telenet', to split it so that you see a 2.4 and a 5 ghz wifi network (it is also better to give it a clear name). If you then explicitly choose 2.4 ghz in the Telraam settings, then the problem will be solved.
