A problem with the device... or with the adapter?
Do you often have to restart your Telraam because you have the impression that the device is breaking down, even though it sometimes restarts itself?
Maybe a problem with the adapter?
We have noticed that there can be a problem with some Telraam power adapters.
It seems that these are not always able to supply enough voltage, which sometimes causes the Telraam device to fail.
The possible symptoms are :
- The small red light on the device does not stay on permanently.
- It is impossible to connect to the Telraam wifi network. Or the Telraam wifi network is not visible when the connection is made (after waiting up to 1 minute).
- The device regularly shuts down and then restarts automatically.
You can check if the malfunction of your Telraam is due to the adapter, by testing if the problem disappears when you use a different adapter. This can be done with most smartphone adapters. You will need a (short) cable from USB to micro-USB. The adapter must have an output of 5V and 2.5A.
If this test solves the problem and you want a new adapter, please let us know at email@example.com and we will send you a new adapter as soon as possible.
The other adapter didn't solve the problem? Then maybe a problem with the Telraam itself.
Also in this case, please send us an email to with a more detailed firstname.lastname@example.org description of the problem and its symptoms. We will then investigate whether the problem is related to the Abacus itself, and we will possibly provide you with a new device.
